Liz Olivas is the President and Founder of The Therapeutic Alternative in Boca Raton, Florida. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Ohio University's School of Dance and became a licensed massage therapist in Florida in 1987. Her background in kinesiology, anatomy, and movement-based therapy laid the groundwork for a career focused on non-invasive, integrative bodywork. Liz is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist trained through the Dr. Vodder School in Austria, and holds an advanced certification in Modern MLD incorporating evidence-based research and ICG fluoroscopy. She is also an Advanced Practitioner and Registered Instructor of Ortho-Bionomy® with the Society of Ortho-Bionomy® International®. Her practice emphasizes post-mastectomy lymphedema, post-surgical recovery, and chronic pain relief, blending lymphatic therapy and Ortho-Bionomy® to restore balance and well-being.
